Are Outer outdoor furniture covers waterproof or water-resistant?
Outer outdoor furniture covers are made with water-resistant fabric to help protect matching furniture from rain, snow, sun, dirt and everyday debris. They are not described as completely waterproof. For the best protection, install the cover securely, keep it properly vented and avoid allowing water or heavy snow to collect on the surface.
Which sofas, sectionals, chairs and tables do Outer covers fit?
Outer offers fitted covers for matching sofas, loveseats, sectionals, modular chairs, chaise lounges, ottomans, Adirondack chairs, dining tables, coffee tables, side tables and fire pit tables. These covers are designed specifically for compatible Outer furniture and are not universal covers for furniture from other brands.
How do I choose the correct cover size and configuration?
Match the cover to your Outer furniture collection, material, seat count and configuration. For sectionals, confirm whether your layout is left-facing, right-facing, corner, L-shaped or U-shaped. For tables, check the shape and product model. Review the complete product name and compatibility information before purchasing, as similar-looking covers may have different dimensions.
How do Outer covers stay secure in windy weather?
The fitted shape, zippered openings and buckle straps help keep the cover secured around the matching furniture piece. Vented construction also helps the cover remain easier to manage as outdoor conditions change. Fasten every strap and zipper before windy weather, and check the cover during severe storms to make sure it remains correctly positioned.
Should patio furniture be covered during winter or year-round?
An All-Weather Cover can be used throughout the year whenever furniture is not in use, especially during frequent rain, snow, strong sun, storms or extended off-season periods. Before covering, make sure the furniture is clean and dry. Periodically remove accumulated water, snow or debris and follow the care instructions for your specific furniture material.
What is the difference between OuterShell® and an All-Weather Cover?
OuterShell® is the built-in cover designed to protect seat cushions between uses, helping keep them clean, dry and ready to use. An All-Weather Cover fits over the full furniture piece, including the frame and cushions. In climates with frequent rain, snow, wind or extended periods of non-use, using both provides more complete protection.
